In his image, God creates,
And so unique are all our traits,
But babies are the best of all,
Oh-so-sweet and very small.
He loves them so, it's very true,
He made them just for me and you,
More precious than silver or gold,
With little tiny hands to hold.
So treasure them the way He does,
It's easy, I would say, because
They are such perfect little things,
Their beauty makes the angels sing!

On our way to the park our 4 year old daughter asked how God makes things. After trying to explain to her that when there is lots of love between a mommy and a daddy God creates little babies. She looked at me and said but what if I don't want a little brother or sister can you just ask God if this time he can use your and daddy's love to create a nice Barbie doll house and maybe if there is some love left over if we could ask for a barbie car.
I wanted to smile but at the same time I wanted to explain to her that some things can be bought at a store and other things God can only create. Just then we heard some thunder and I stopped our conversation about God and told her that we had to turn around and go back home because we would be caught in a rain storm.
My daughter looked at me and said "mommy don't be silly, that noise is just the angels playing bowling and I asked her what angels and she looked at me and said "mommy the angels that God created", I then asked her where were these angels playing bowling and she stopped in her tracks and said "mommy I think I have to start teaching you about God, the angels are playing up in heaven".
