Before becoming a parent of Jacob I remember I was always concerned about what I was wearing and whether I had my make-up on. Many other superficial things were important to me.


Then after we have been married for about 2 years, my husband and I decided to try and have a baby. The first couple of failed attempts got me thinking that maybe there was a reason back in the day why women got married at such an early age and then quickly had children. Maybe they knew something I did not. I thought to myself that I was in my early 30's and I could not have possibly passed my time. After about one year of trying we received the wonderful news that we were pregnant.

After Jacob was born I remember thinking to myself that this little human would be dependant on me 100%. It was at this point that I did not care if my hair, nails or make-up was done. I did not need my daily dose of Starbucks java. I was comletely content ith my new baby and I knew that he would be a part of my life in everything I woud do.

These days, little things such as baby card verses are very important to me. Andra you did a great job with this one.
