Cute Baby Girl Poem

Baby girls are sweet and gorgeous and this little baby girl poem portrays the baby girl experience perfectly.

Heart Devoted

A baby girl is sweeter than
A fresh-baked apple pie,
She can simply melt your heart
With just a tiny sigh.

When she blinks her eyes at you
You'll feel completely blessed,
And when she cries or fusses,
You'll feel quite powerless.

You'll be wrapped around her finger,
But you won't mind at all!
Your heart is now devoted
And you're at her beck and call.

Hi, my name is Andra and when I first wrote this cute little baby girl poem tears welled up in my eyes. It's exactly how I felt when I brought Amanda home from the hospital. She was so beautiful. I had this dress that was a beautiful light pink with lace around the collar, at the bodice and on the bottom of its full skirt. It had a cute little heart embroidered on the full skirt that said "Daddy's little girl".

I had worn it home from the hospital when I was born, and my mom had kept it in perfect condition all these years. I was so tickled that she had preserved it so well, that when we got home, I immediately changed Amanda into a romper and placed the dress in a plastic bag to preserve it for Amanda's little girl.

It's so great to have a little girl. You can just see the intelligence in her eyes; she seems to have the knowledge and wisdom of the ages. She is also much more sensitive than a little boy, she seems to know when mommy is sad, frightened or happy and reacts accordingly. She giggles with joy when her daddy comes home or when her grandma comes to visit and just loves her older brothers. She watches them with awe as they go terrorizing through the house. You can just tell she can't wait to be chasing after them.

Amanda is sweet, gentle and such a happy baby. She coo's, and blows bubbles and then smiles with so much joy, I just can't help but just melt into a chair. She grabs my finger and puts it into her mouth when she's hungry and loves to be kissed all over. I would do anything to keep her happy, just like this baby girl poem says.

And when she gets fussy, I can't stand it. I do everything I can to change her mood and after I have taken care of her needs and nothing is working, I use a cheerful nursery rhyme melody and sing it to her every time she gets a little fussy and it always makes her giggle. Which of course makes my heart turn to silly putty; I love this cute baby girl poem.
