Showered With Chocolates
A precious baby is on the way,
We're celebrating, at the Chocolate Cafe.
Don't tell Mommy, it's a surprise,
Belgian chocolates will enrich her eyes.
We all know her favorite truffle,
Baby games, we'll have to shuffle.
This day shall be filled with taste,
Not a single chocolate will go to waste.
Bring baby talk and your imagination,
A fondue fountain - deepest sensation.
Celebrating new life, we truly adore,
A delicious day - Chocolates galore!

I still remember very vividly how much fun we had at Cynthia's chocolate themed baby shower. Every time I think of it, I get this huge craving for Belgian chocolates.
Celebrate a Baby Girl
Hang pink streamers, tie pink bows
Shop for toys or baby clothes,
A baby shower is at hand
We think that it will be just grand!
Some girly games we'll have to play
It will be a very special day
For baby girls are just so nice
So come along, and share advice!
Celebrating a baby girl
Is one of the best things in the world,
It will be a day of fun and cheer
We hope that you will join us here!

Reading this poem, I can't help but recall the fun we had at my baby Gabriela's baby shower. We have had many wonderful adventures with these baby shower invitation poems. The poem titled, Almost Here, is the one that Cynthia used to invite her guests for her most recent baby shower. We had so much fun making those invites, I remember like it was yesterday.
Some of my girlfriends ask me which invitation poem do I recommend or like the most. They usually do this after reading a few and not being able to decide. I usually tell them to choose the first one that they really like. But if they are looking for a very simple one, I may show them this invitation verse, that is very simple and cute. But in the end, just go with the one you like the most.
Share Our Joy
We'll decorate the house in blue
And blow up some balloons,
We'll toss confetti in the air
And hear some baby tunes!
It's time to have a shower
For our little baby boy,
And we send this invitation
So that you might share our joy!
Come along and join us
As we start to celebrate,
We're looking forward to the day
And we can hardly wait!

Looking back at it all, I think Andra began writing poems for baby shower invitations about 3 years ago. I remember vividly, when she convinced me that we should make the baby shower invitation cards for Gabriela's shower. She said that she will write a couple really cute baby shower announcement verses, that we will include with the cards.
Initially, I was not exactly looking forward to all the extra work. Especially since Gabriela's shower was just around the corner. But everything turned out fine. Thanks to my wonderful friends, and all their help.
Personally, I learned that verses for baby shower invitations are usually a lot better when they are short. For me the long ones just keep on going and going, with no end in sight. But the short ones are quick, memorable, and fit nicely inside any greeting card.
Don't forget to start looking for baby shower favors. I found some really cute ones online.
One of my all time favourites, is a poem called, Little Hint. Feel free to check it out (it's so cute).
It turns out that the unique baby shower invitations that we made for Cynthia's, Andra's, and my baby showers, have been a huge success. So we would like to thank you all for your amazing feedback. Your feedback and encouragement has been one of our main motivations for making this site.
Your Girlfriends,
Cynthia, Andra, and Heather
