You sure do have a lot of nerve,
I’ll give you just what you deserve:
A great big "Thank you very much!"
Your gift was great, I’m very touched!

With some fun and a little flour,
You baked me up a baby shower!
The games were great and so were you,
I’m very sad that it’s now through.

In a very non-conventional way my huspand was part of helping with my baby shower. His job was to keep it all top secret without spilling the beans. Well although it was difficult to not notice the confirmation list of my guests and the little samples of baby shower balloons that were scatterd around the house I could not help but feel impressed with my husband.


I remember asking my best friend to fill me in on some of the details so I could indirectly help him out but she insisted that he had everything under control. To my surprise my husband helped with what turned out to be a beautiful baby shower.

The confirmation list that I saw earlier was put there just to misguide me and the other little things such as the samples of decorations were not even the ones that were used. I told my best friend that I was very pleased with the shower. She told me that it was my husband that had everything under control, and to this day I am so glad that this is the way he showed me that he would do anything for me.
