It is during times like having a baby that you really realize who your true friends are. I remember when my daughter was a month old I had my friend pick the both of us up and took us to Starbucks for a nice cup of java. Although this may not seem like much I was able to take a breather from the daily routine of feeding, burping , changing and putting my little bunddle of joy to sleep.
I was able to sit outside and have a regular adult conversation while my friend held my daughter and I felt so pleased when she said that I have the best baby in the world. I remember turning to my friend and saying you are right I do have the best baby but I also have the best friend in the world because only a true friend will take the time and sit and talk to you about baby things while you have throwup on your shirt without even realizing it until you get home.
