A Newborn Baby Poem
All it takes is one special newborn baby poem to melt your heart and cuddle that precious little newborn nice and gently.
Cute
A newborn baby is something to see,
So tiny and fragile and sweet,
Nothing in nature can even compare,
Even puppies and kittens can't compete.
Small little hands,
And small little toes,
Small little ears,
With a sweet little nose.
Yes, newborn babies are a sight to behold,
I challenge your heart not to melt,
When you look down and see their cute baby eyes,
And feel their hair, as soft as felt.

I remember counting my daughter's fingers as soon as she was born. But because I was so tired I could not get past 7 fingers. Looking back now that my daughter is 2 years old I realize how silly it was to focus on such things. But at the same time when a parent meets their child for the first time they want them to be perfectly healthy.
I soon realized that there is no such thing as a perfect child and no such thing as a perfect parent. But there is such things as "my baby is so smart" and "my baby is the cutes baby ever" and all of this is in the eyes of the beholder. But there is something about passing a mother with her baby in the stroller and just thinking "awwwe" how cute.
It is something about their pudgy faces, feet and fingers that makes them so lovable. There is also something about the look on their faces that make a person feel comfortable and not judged. Everytime you look at a baby you think to yourself that their innocence and cuteness makes you forget all your troubles.
I remember when Sophia was just a few weeks old, I would read this newborn baby poem and many more to her, and she would always smile and giggle at me.
Yours Truly,
