Poems About Baby Boys
The poems about baby boys "Sleeping Baby Boy" strikes a peaceful chord with the heart.
Sleeping Baby Boy
Baby boy, sleeping there
Cuddling his teddy bear
When he sleeps he looks so sweet
Such tiny hands and tiny feet!
You wonder what your baby dreams
You hope it's all of happy things
Like Mommy's smile and Daddy's laugh
Or purple cows and green giraffes.
And while he sleeps, you just sit near
And look down at your little dear
You take care not to wake him yet
For sleeping babies are the best!

Poems about baby boys touches on the wonderment of what your darling little boy is dreaming, when you watch him sleep. His expressions sometimes give you a clue. Maybe he's dreaming of pulling your pet's hair or grabbing your earrings. Sometimes it seems that you can tell what's going on in that little brain of his when he clenches his fist and lets out a little yell or starts suckling on his thumb or his pillow.
He's sleeping so peaceful even though a short time ago you were hustling to get him fed, burped, diapered and bathed. You can't help but reflect on the miracle of his birth and how amazing it is that you have him.
But when he's awake, wow! Talk about rowdy, and every mother thinks, if I just had that much energy, I could keep up with him. When he's little he kicks, giggles and makes noises you've never heard, and as he grows and starts to crawl he is into everything, curious, exploring his world. And when the toddler stage comes, look out! You'll be chasing him, looking for him, only to find him somewhere you never expected, like behind the couch, up on top of a shelf or any number of odd places.
Then he'll laugh at you and go scurrying off again to play the game. You better make sure his surroundings are baby safe, because he will find things you never expected him to find. No matter how old you are, he wears you out. So that's why poems about baby boys reinforce the saying, "They're so sweet when they're asleep".
But you know you wouldn't give him up for anything in the world. It's a labor of love, and that he brings so many happy moments to you and his daddy's life. He's your boy, your source for joy and not to mention his daddy's namesake. He also looks so cute when he tries to mimic his older siblings, so you can't help but laugh when he gets that same stern expression his dad gets when he's displeased.
Or walking around uttering some unintelligible words, and you haven't a clue as to whether he is mad or just playing some game in his imagination. Enjoy these poems about baby boys because it will bring all sorts of memories to the surface as you read.
Sincerely,
Andra Mccoy
