Aren't you proud, poems congratulations new baby boy, really hits the nail on the head as they say. Little boys are so much fun to watch when they're tiny as well as they get a little older. It won't be long until he'll be rolling over in his bed, and not too long after he'll be sitting up, then crawling and walking. Then you'll be chasing him down the hall giggling as hard as he is. It'll be so much fun to buy him stuffed puppy dogs and teddy bears. You have a blast as he pushes his first truck across the floor making funny little sounds that he thinks are vehicle sounds.
He'll get that mischievous look in his eye as he beeps at you and then runs the truck into your foot. You'll want to be stern and reprimand him for making your foot hurt but one look at that face and you won't be able to. But you'll have to tell him be more careful or he'll hurt mommy. Then he might pucker up to cry and you'll scoop him up and tell him it's ok, just try not to do it again.
Then as he gets bigger and starts exploring his surroundings, you'll have to watch him very closely to ensure his safety. He'll be so curious and fearless it'll scare you half to death. Little boys have a way of pushing the envelope, so to say, its instinctual. They're designed by nature to push forward, to be assertive but yet so fragile with their emotions. You need a firm position but not so firm that you damage his entrepreneur spirit.
You want him to push forward, it’s the stuff that makes men successful, but you want to teach him to temper his ambition to fit into the situation at hand.
