Poems For Baby Boys
There should be more poems for baby boys like this one named "blue". It expresses the love and joy of having a sweet little baby boy.
Blue
It's time to decorate in blue!
And bring home little baby, too.
For little boys are just so dear
They fill you up with love and cheer.
His eyes, his smile, each tiny toe
Will make your heart begin to glow
Your son just has to smile and coo
To get a chuckle out of you.
Baby boys are special dears
They bring such joy throughout the years
With love and laughter you will grow
Together, sharing all you know.

You'll laugh and cry with happiness and possibly be inspired to write your own poems for baby boys. Think of what a kick it'll be to watch his dad or grandpa teach your little boy to play sports like baseball, hockey, football, or even track. When he takes his first step, catches his first ball, puts on his clothes by himself, even if they are on backwards you'll beam with pride.
When you take him to school for his first day, you'll be scared to death, but when he comes home with that picture of mommy he drew with a big heart on it, you know it'll go on your refrigerator. Then as he gets older and he's making the grade at school and learning to play nice with his friends you'll feel gratified that you are raising him right.
When he wins his first award, or plays his first intramural game, you'll be there cheering him on. Then come the girls. You know you'll scrutinize each fair lady so hard he'll ask you to be nice. And you'll have to because you know your little boy is on the way to becoming a man.
All the possibilities, all the dreams will flood your mind and you will think about what you would want for his future. And as time passes you'll come to realize that he is becoming his own person and will have his own ideas of what he wants and you will have to let go. But as you watch him grow, experience his middle and high school graduation and are thrilled by his acceptance into college, when he goes you will worry.
Then he'll find a job, you'll be so proud, but when he gets that promotion, you'll be elated and celebrate his success. Then he brings the woman home that he loves so much, there's no question that there will be wedding bells soon. The event arrives and he looks so scared and handsome in his tux, and you cry tears of joy as well as fear, hoping it all works out that he is happy and has made the right decision.
Then time passes and he announces that you are going to be a grandmother. Then you have the opportunity to read poems for baby boys to your precious grandson and life goes on.
Sincerely,
Andra Mccoy
