For something that’s sweet,
And not at all sour,
Come one and come all,
It’s a baby shower!
We’re going to have fun,
And play lots of games,
Like mommy-to-be quizzes,
And guessing baby names!
We can all try our best,
To predict the baby’s size,
And we all can compete,
For a wonderful prize!

I recall, attending my friend Jessica's baby shower a few years ago, when she was pregnant with her daughter Samantha. It was one of the most enjoyable baby showers that I have ever been to.
It was so unique. The theme at this baby shower was about baby names and baby photos. The banquet hall room was decorated with so many cute baby pictures. Some of them were from the internet, while others belonged to the guests.
We played a game, where we all voted for the cutest baby picture. The winner was a picture of this super cute baby that was napping on her daddy's shoulder. It truly adorable.
We also played a game where everyone wrote down a baby girl name, and placed it inside a box. The names where displayed and a vote was taken for the top three names, based on noise. Imagine the chaos that erupted, as one hundred grown women were all yelling the names out loud. It was hilarious.
The baby name that won was Sandra, but in the end it was Jessica's final decision, and she chose, Samantha. I think that's a beautiful name.
Andra wrote this cute poem for Jessica's invitations. You are welcome to use anyone of these poems for baby shower invitations. Simply, choose the one that you like the most, and relates to you.
