Poems For Baby Showers
These poems for baby showers were written for you to share with your girlfriends and family members during their baby showers.
There are no men allowed,
For it's a baby shower!
We get to make the rules, you see;
We women have the power!
We can talk of girly things
And men cannot object,
Because it's just for ladies
(Well, what did you expect?).
We're looking forward to giggling,
And enjoying so much fun,
And you can see your handsome man
When the party is all done!

This is one of the funniest baby shower poems that Andra has ever written. You know it's gonna be funny, just by reading the title. I plan on including it in a baby shower card for my sister Karen's baby shower, that is not that far away.
Right now, I would like to talk about baby shower cakes. More specifically, the cake that my mother-in-law made for baby Gabriela's baby shower. Let's just say - it was amazing!
My mother-in-law Linda, makes the most delicious and fancy looking cakes in the entire country. That's just my opinion. I am confident that I am right.
She retired 4 years ago. But before that, she worked for 45 years at the same local bakery, where she was known as The CakeMaster. That's all she did all day at the bakery, bake cakes. She loved doing it, and she still does.
She baked our wedding cake and I asked her to bake my baby shower cake. Wow, it looked so good, and tasted even better. The girls devoured it. If I remember correctly, they were fighting over seconds. Some even has thirds.
When I look back at it now, so many people that care about me helped me so much to make Gabriela's shower truly special. Andra wrote a variety of beautiful poems for baby showers that I chose from, while Linda baked a super cake, Cynthia helped with pretty much everything. My mom and sister Karen also helped me a lot.
I guess that's what makes these events special. Little details such as great poetry and delicious cakes.
