Poems For Baby Celebrations
If you are looking for poems for baby celebrations, this one talks about how family members always want to just hold and squeeze and play with the baby or toddler.
Family
You're just a little baby,
But you have so many fans,
Everyone just loves you
And they want to hold your hands.
Your grandma wants to hug you
And your grandpa, he does too,
Your auntie wants a kiss
Because that's just what aunties do.
But I'm your mommy, and I say
I love you most of all,
That's what I tell everyone,
When they do come to call!

Everyone gets excited when they see a baby. It just seems that they are little magnets that attract everone. I know that with my big family there is no such thing as going to a family function and not letting everyone hold the baby. At the same time I see it as a "hot potato" game everyone wants to touch, kiss, smell and talk to the baby.
I always have an issue with this because my son does not like to be passed around like a potato. My husband on the other hand insists that there is nothing wrong with that and that the child really does feel the love. He tells me that there is no way that we can let certain family members hold the baby and for example not let his 95 year old grandmother who suffers from arthritis hold the baby. I think that even family member should have some self control when it comes to babies.
But I do understand, that they just want to spread their love to all the adorable little babies in the family. Thanks for visiting our poems for baby celebrations page. Feel free to share the poem if you would like.
Yours Truly,
Cynthia Cook
